Who is Miz Smarty Pants?
My name is Denise and I live in Western Montana. I have 5 cats, spend way too much time on the internet and drink way too much espresso. I work graveyard at a hospital answering phones. I’m anti-social not only in the real world, but online as well. I think I know everything. Wait, I do know everything. 
I started this blog to chronicle my weight loss surgery journey, but got lazy and distracted. I get distracted way to easily. I’ve also become a procrastinator in my old age. Nah, I’m just lazy. How lazy? I had my surgery in January of 2009. Someday I’ll post before/after photos. Someday I’ll add more about my surgery.
I really do want to share what I went thought. What I’m still going through. When I went searching for stories, I had a hard time finding “real” people. I want to hear from people who are like me. I don’t have a fancy blog, nor have I been published. I don’t have a TV show or endorsements from major companies. I’m still paying my hospital bill!
Regardless of would haves, should haves, could haves, when I look back I’m happy with my decision. Would I do it again? YES!
